Codornices Park is a beautiful hillside green space with woodsy walking trails, creeks, and scenic overlooks. The Berkeley Rose Garden at Codornices Park offers stunning San Francisco views from a gorgeous tiered garden featuring 250 varieties of roses and over 1,500 rose bushes. Tilden Park spans more than 2,000 acres between the Berkeley Hills and San Pablo Ridge on the city’s eastern boundary. This park has a magnificent landscape with botanic gardens, a famous carousel, historic Little Farm, and fishing and swimming on picturesque Lake Anza. Berkeley’s sprawling UC campus is the largest and most famous campus in the University of California. The UC campus covers 1,232 acres and holds many landmarks and cultural attractions. The Greek Theater at UC Berkeley hosts live performances from top touring acts. Lawrence Hall of Science is a public science center with many fascinating exhibits and a hands-on Kids Lab. Other points of interest on the UC campus include the 34-acre University of California Botanical Garden, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, and the University of California Museum of Paleontology.
